Investment strategy
The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long term capital growth by replicating the returns of the ChinaBond ICBC 1-10 Year Treasury and Policy Bank Bond Index, or upon the Manager giving three (3) months’ prior written notice to the Trustee and the Holders, such other index that gives, in the opinion of the Manager, the same or substantially similar exposure as the Index, before fees and expenses. The Index aims to track the performance of the Chinese treasury bonds and bonds issued by the 3 Chinese policy banks. Qualified constituents of the Index include Chinese treasury bonds and Chinese policy bank bonds publicly issued on the China Interbank Bond Market with time to maturity of more than 1 year and no more than 10 years.
