The Fund will invest in equity securities, other equity-related securities, and, where appropriate, fixed income (FI) securities (such as bonds), money market instruments (MMIs) (i.e., short-term debt securities), deposits, and cash. The Fund is actively managed, and the Investment Manager (IM) has discretionary power to select the Fund's investments. In doing so, the IM will consider the MSCI Japan Index (the "Index") for the construction of the Fund's portfolio and for risk management purposes to ensure that the active risk (i.e., the deviation from the Index) assumed by the Fund remains consistent with its investment objective and policy.
