The Fund is a passively managed index-tracking fund that seeks to provide investors with investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of the Nasdaq® Clean Edge® Global Water Index (the “Index”) before fees and expenses. The Index is designed to track the performance of companies that derive a substantial portion of their revenues from the potable water and wastewater industry in one of the following sub-sectors ("Water Sectors"): (i) water distribution; (ii) infrastructure (pumps, pipes and valves); (iii) water solutions (purification and filtration); and (iv) ancillary services (consulting, construction and metering). To be included in the Index, Clean Edge classifies companies as “pure play” if they derive 50% or more of their revenue from the Water Sectors and classifies companies as “diversified” if they are active in Water Sectors but derive less than 50% of their revenue from them.
