The Fund is an open-end type equity investment trust. Its benchmark is the NOMURA Crude Oil Long Index*. The Fund aims to track the performance of the benchmark index converted into Japanese yen by investing mainly in short-term domestic and foreign securities and by the trading of the Crude Oil Futures. The NOMURA Crude Oil Long Index constitutes those crude oil futures that have been selected from among the world's crude oil future markets based on trading volume and liquidity. The Index aims to track the movement of the crude oil price and is calculated with a base date of December 31, 2008 and with an initial index value of 1000.
