ETFs replicating the segment of Large Cap Asian Pacific Stocks recorded clear gains of +2,62% on average, on Wednesday, June 19th. This rebound can be explained by the rally of Asian currencies that are getting stronger against the US dollar after the Fed suggested a possible rates cut in the near future. As a consequence of these strong currencies, Asian stocks rose sharply. During the last month, Asian Pacific stocks are up by +2,22%, and by +11,20% since the beginning of the year. Despite these performances, the segment experienced strong outflows in 2019, since more than $540M were withdrawn from the primary market. Overall, 20 ETFs are tracking 7 indices related to Large Cap Asian Pacific stocks, and gather a total of $18,9Bn of assets under management.
