ETFs providing exposure to the financial sector climbed another +1,50% during yesterday’s market session. The segment also registered remarkable inflows with +$725,61M of new shares created on the same day via the primary market to accommodate the rush in investors’ demand. Yesterday’s inflows pushed the 30-day cumulative inflows to +$1,4Bn. Despite rallying +23,17% over the past 30 days, financials ETFs are still down -12,40% year-to-date as the financial sector was particularly hit by the pandemic crisis. 24 funds tracking 14 indices are included in the segment for a total of $25,1Bn of assets under management.
