After several days of negative performance, Municipal investment grade bonds indices and their related ETFs reversed the trend and posted a good average daily performance of +0,72% on Wednesday, September 18th. This is a remarkable return for this low volatile segment which gathers 16 ETFs. In 2019, the cumulated performance exceeded 7,5% as of the end of August, before it declined in September to + 5,5% at its lowest. The year-to-date cumulated performance bounced back with the yesterday’s performance to +6,3%. In term of flows, investors who look for stability poured $ 3,8 Bn of new assets through the primary market in ETFs included in this segment, which now represents more than $ 30 Bn of assets under management.
