Following the announcement of putting on hold the initially planned March 1st increase in US tariffs on Chinese imports, the renminbi went sharply higher and the overall Chinese market jumped by over 3%. ETFs exposed to the Chinese stocks market also benefitted from this jump, with an average daily performance of +2,99% for the 16 ETFs concerned. Since the beginning of the year, Chinese stocks ETFs progressed by almost 20% while investors withdrew $383 M from the primary market over the same period. The Chinese All Caps Segment gathers $ 3,15 Bn of assets under management as of the February 22nd.
