STOXX Europe 600 Index
The STOXX Europe 600 index also called the STOXX 600 is an indicator of the performance of the European stock market. It measures the performance of large mid and small-cap companies across 17 countries in Europe.
The number of constituents is fixed at 600. The UK, France, and Switzerland are the most represented countries in the index. The index is operated by STOXX. The company oversees many indexes such as the EURO STOXX 50 index which is an indicator of the performance of blue-chip European stocks.
