However, fixed income remains one of the most popular asset classes, notably for diversification purposes. Trackinsight's 2021 Global ETF survey, gathering the answers of 370 professional ETF investors, indicated that 70% of respondents used Bond ETFs in their portfolio, making them the second asset class in the ETF space behind equity. The survey also revealed that a third of investors planned to increase their allocation to fixed income ETFs.
