Highlighting the list are 21Shares Binance Coin ETP, VanEck Vectors Ethereum ETN and VanEck Vectors Bitcoin ETN gaining +16.41%,+14.07% and +13.88% respectively.

Total Cryptocurrency market cap increased from $1.93 trillion to $2.10 trillion with the largest three cryptocurrencies by market cap Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance Coin leading the way with 11.5%, 8% and 22% gains respectively.

Soaring oil and gas prices lifts Energy ETFs

Energy ETFs with exposure to oil and gas companies stay on their upward course as demand picks up around the world. Brent and WTI oil futures rose by 1.5% and 2.5% respectively last week, while Natural Gas (Henry Hub) surged by more than 9% during the same period.

The reopening of the global economy over the last year sent energy demand up around the world. Natural gas supplies at current levels are not enough to meet European and Chinese demand. This has prompted power companies to swap gas for oil, pushing up the prices of both.

ETFs investing in energy commodities or equities rose in tandem with the price of the oil and dominated Trackinsight's Weekly top 10 ETFs list, including Invesco DWA Energy Momentum ETF, WisdomTree Natural Gas and iShares Oil & Gas Exploration & Production UCITS ETF which posted more than 7.0% gains each.

Honorable mentions: Agriculture and Cotton Futures

WisdomTree Lean Hogs gained +10.92% after Lean Hogs futures rose last week on quarterly U.S. Department of Agriculture data released on September 24th that showed smaller-than-expected U.S. pig supplies.

WisdomTree Cotton gained +8.91% as Cotton futures reach 10-year highs boosted by supply concerns in the U.S. and strong emerging-market demand.

Breakwave Dry Bulk Shipping ETF asserts its reign as the top performing ETF of the year with +10.14% gains over the week. The ETF which invests in dry bulk freight futures has risen more than 370% this year as rising demand for goods and port congestions continue to push shipping rates higher.
